Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop ~ Waiting, Waiting, Waiting

Focused on the Magic
The theme for this week's Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop, hosted by Focused on the Magic, is the Letter W.  Well, there is one W that some people may dislike, but we have found ways to make this "w" not so bad.  That is "W"aiting.  We have found some fun ways to make waiting just as much a part of our vacation as the thrill seekers' thrills, ok maybe not.  But here are some of my favorite photos of us waiting for dinner or the monorail or a bus or just waiting for someone else to make their way back to our group.

Make sure you head over to
to share your favorite Disney photo and to see what everyone else shared!

Such a great idea! Waiting is something we do a lot of at Disney World! I love that you've taken those moments to get such great pictures!

Thank you! As I went through my photos, this "theme" stood out. :-)

LOL, I could have create an entire photobook of "waiting" photos. :-)

Me too! People watching is always fun in Disney!

It's funny because it keeps the kids busy and as they have gotten older, they want to take pictures. I certainly makes the time pass quickly!

As I was searching through photos, this was the theme that stood out. I have months of Wordless Wednesday blog posts I could create from our "waiting" photos. :-)

Thank you, Diane! I tried to comment on your blog for some reason, but I loved your photos with the stormtroopers - so fun!

Thank you, Kimberly! I loved your Steamboat Willie photo - I hadn't even thought of that! I couldn't leave a comment for some reason, but wanted you to know I loved it!

I think when we are waiting are the times all my kids are in one place. :-) It certainly helps pass the time because the kids love showing off for the camera and now that they are older, they want to take the pictures themselves.

Beth D. said...

Yes, it can!! Luckily, my camera has become a distraction to make the time pass. :-)

Cute photos of waiting. Waiting is sometimes fun and Disney makes a lot of their ride lines very interactive.

these pictures even make waiting fun!! :) cute group.

It is so funny because as I looked through some of our photos, some of my favorites are while we are waiting! :-)

Beth D. said...

Very true!! It is much more fun waiting at Disney than waiting in lines anywhere near home! :-)

Thank you, Beth! :-)

I agree with you completely Beth. Folks who don't enjoy and make the most of waiting are missing out. Every minute counts, if you know how to value it. Your family clearly does!! :D

I am totally cracking up at your take on the letter "W". Waiting really is the perfect Disney "W" word. I never would have thought of this one.

Really I can't get enough of time with my kids that we aren't running to sports or doing homework (can you tell I am ready for summer vacation?), so when in Disney we truly make it quality family time from arrival to departure! Plus, I can't resist those cute little faces! ;-)

LOL, as I searched for a photo, I suddenly saw a "pattern." :-)

Your kids are just too cute for words! Disney is my favorite place to WAIT for anythng!

There sure is tons of waiting in WDW, isn't there? :)

Waiting is so hard but can be some of the most fun moments of the trip! Love all your pictures :)

Beth D. said...

Thank you, Donna Kay! I don't know how Disney does it, but waiting in Disney rarely feels like waiting! :-)

Beth D. said...

You know it, but luckily usually what is after the wait is worth it, well most of the time! :-)

Beth D. said...

Thank you, Lynn! As my kids have gotten older our "waiting" has become easier. :-)
