Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop ~ Our Disney Side

Focused on the Magic
Every Disney fan has a Disney side, and we are no exception.  Each member of our family has their own favorites when it comes to our vacations.  But there is one thing we ALL have in common.  We love spending time with our favorite characters at as many character dining experiences as we can squeeze into one vacation!

Here we are showing off our Disney side over the years:

Thanks to Deb at Focused on the Magic for hosting another great week of the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!  We love showing off our Disney side, and this is the perfect way to share ours!

Head on over to
to share your Disney Side and see what everyone else shared!

Even as adults, we try to get at least one character pic each trip!

I think trying to get that name out to others in your travel party could lose you valuable time in getting to the attraction before the lines are long! ;-) Just kidding, but I agree, Splash Mountain just works better!

They do! Some of my favorite Disney memories are from character meals!

With three little ones, we find this a great way to see who is timid around the characters before heading to the parks too. Plus it saves us from having to stand in line to meet some of our favorites!

Thank you! They all hold very special memories that even years after my kids talk about it. Now as our children have gotten older and have their own favorites, it is tricky to decide which ones to experience and which ones we have to skip!

Before kids, we never did a character meal thinking they were just for kids. As soon as we experienced our first one when our son was 14 months, we realized what a mistake we had made skipping them all those years!

We love to catch the characters during dining, much easier than standing in the line and you feel like you are maximizing your time :)

I agree! And I feel like the interactions are much more meaningful too. My kids are shy so when we stand in line at the parks to meet them, they are very quiet because of the number of people around. When we are dining, they feel much more comfortable interacting.

I love your DisneySide! We love doing the Character Dining too, even though our kids are grown it is so fun to watch how excited the kids get and remember those days.

Our Disney trips are not complete without character dining. I hope my kids never out grow them, or my husband and I would have to just go without them! :-)

My kids always create a list of the characters they want to see before we leave. It is always part of their planning. :-)

We LOVED the stepsisters! We had never been to 1900 Park Fare, but I was so glad we did. The food was great and we had so much fun with the characters! Actually my review of our experience is posting tomorrow morning at 9:30. :-)
