Joey the Jedi for the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop ~ It's All About the Letter J

Focused on the Magic
Today I am joining in the fun of the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop hosted by Deb at Focused on the Magic.  The theme this week is the letter J and just so happens my son's name is "J"oey.  So this week my hardest part of choosing photos was not choosing too many!  I probably could create a complete photo book of just Joey and his Disney trips.  But I digress!  As I searched through my photos, I realized that how perfect for "J" to share photos of my Jedi Joey.

Joey took on Darth Vader like a pro!  He will be sharing his review of the Jedi Training Academy in a future post, but I can say, this is one of his favorite things in Walt Disney World!

Make sure you head over to
to take a stroll through this virtual photo album of everyone's favorite Disney J's!

Great picture for the letter "J". I wish I was young enough to do the Jedi training!!

Oh no! Well, it is so fun if you can ever convince her to change her mind. If you are ever there when we are, you can come with us! :-)

This experience exceeded my expectations - it was fun, the Jedi Master was very entertaining, and my shy little guy didn't run off the stage! :-)

Thank you! It goes so fast it was hard to capture shots, but this one is probably the best of the bunch!

He was! I was so proud! Even better, he had a smile on his face most of the time. I bet Darth Vader doesn't see that all the time!

Beth D. said...

You've got that right! He is so shy, so I was impressed he stayed on stage and followed through!

He has even been practicing them here at home. I am not sure his sisters appreciate his skills as much as he does! :-)

I highly recommend it! The whole set up is just great. But get there early! We arrived at the turnstiles at 8:15 with park opening supposedly 9 (it opened earlier than than though) and we headed straight to the sign up place and there was already a long line.

He was SO fun! I don't know that any other Jedi Master could have topped his performance. What a great job to have! :-)

Joey was so excited! I did not plan well last trip, so I couldn't get him in. My mission this trip was no matter what, Joey was going to get into the Jedi Training Academy. It was such an amazing experience for him!

The show is so comical! The Jedi Master who led Joey's group was a lot of fun. He was full of one liners and was just hysterical!

Beth D. said...

Thank you! Joey did such a great job!

Beth D. said...

Yes, he has been putting his skills to work around the house ... mostly on his sisters! ;-) I've been spared so far!

This is such a great offering for kids, especially boys. I also have two girls and it seems so much easier to find special events like this for the girls (princess dinners, etc.). This was something that was just perfect for Joey. He absolutely loved it and has already added it to his list of things to do next trip! :-)
