The images on the wine glasses are glass slippers and a tiara ~ a subtle nod to Cinderella |
So we all know that sometimes good intentions just don't always work out. A few weeks ago I had this great idea for a giveaway that would combine the start of Epcot's Food and Wine Festival with the release of Cinderella on Blu-ray - two of my favorite things! I put my new glass etching skills to work and created some fun Cinderella themed wine glasses. The giveaway would have kicked off a week of Disney Princess posts and Food and Wine Festival posts. Just one day before the giveaway was to begin, in an unfortunate walk-the-kids-to-the-bus-stop incident, I fell and fractured my right elbow. That's right, as I have said to many, my clumsiness finally caught up with me. So today, two weeks later, I can finally start to use my fingers on my right arm, which means I can start blogging again . . . well, at least a little bit. Of course, I am right handed, so spending the last two weeks, basically useless (including having to call my mom over to tie the kids' cleats and my sneakers so we could all head to flag football practice, which my mom also had to drive us there), I am excited to be able to get a few posts in this week! Of course, we'll see how much typing I can do at once, and nothing like being of the age that you see 40 in sight, yet having your mom here taking care of you and consistently reminding me to not overdo!
If you would like to be entered to win, please follow the Rafflecopter form below. The giveaway will be up for two weeks. So, without further ado, cheers!

I love this contest! Thanks Beth!
Those wine glasses are amazingly beautiful!!
These glasses are AMAZING! Love them! :) So sorry to hear about your accident. Sounds like something I'd do.
Oh - and what would I love to experience at the Food and Wine festival? All of it! I'd love to simply wander from booth to booth, grazing :)
I love this giveaway! My favorite thing from the Food & Wine Festival this year was the Spanakopita from Greece. It was so good!
I commented "wrong"! LOL! I've been dying to go to the FWF to try the Apple Strudel in Germany. I think that's where it is...
So glad you're starting to heal & feel better! Those glasses are gorgeous! I haven't been to F&W, but I love the food all around World Showcase. I'd be very interested to try foods from the extra kiosks they set up of other nations around the world.
These glasses are just beautiful!
These are awesome Beth! Maybe I can win these and carry them around Epcot when I go to the Food & Wine Festival in November! :)
Beautiful!!
Let's jusy say, Joanna, no one in my family was surprised when I told them what happened! :-) I was the kid who was put in dance lessons to make me more graceful . . . it didn't work! LOL!
Thank you, Tricia!
I haven't tried the meatballs! I will have to put those on my "must try" list for our next visit to the Food and Wine Festival!
It is awesome! We did it last year as our date night in Disney. My parents took the kids and we met up with our friends. Just an amazing experience all around!
Yes it is in Germany and it is delicious! :-) When we eat at Biergarten, I make sure I save room for that!
Now that is a great idea! You'd be strolling around in style! :-)
Thank you, Mary! You can probably guess, I used my Cricut! :-)
We were lucky enough to sample something from almost every booth. It was a great date night for us! I look forward to experiencing it again.
Thank you, Karen! Glass etching is my newest craft obsession!
I did not try the spanakopita but wanted to. I was too full! :-) It is definitely on my list for next time!
These are super cute!
Thanks, Mary! They are so fun to make too!
These are really neat! My Conundrum would go great in them!
Never been to the Food & Wine festival, but it's on my wish list. The glasses are so cute, great job!
LOL! I commented "wrong" too! I've never actually tried anything at the F&W Festival, but I will next week!
Trying all the wine to actually find one I'd like!
I've never been to F&W but we really wanted to this year. It's on our must-do list for next year, though! We are big wine and cheese lovers (though technically we only end up liking sweet white wines lol) so I would love to try anything related to those. :)
Hubby and I went on our honeymoon and had lamb chops mmmmm yummy! Has to be my fave!
I just went to the Food and Wine for the first time 2 Weeks ago. It was Epcots 30th and mine as well :D anywho my favorite was the beer in Germany and Baklava also the lamb was VERY good too...
Thanks so much for this beautiful giveaway :D
I keep hearing about the vegan "chicken" tikka masala.. does make me curious! I've never been, but I'm pretty sure I could eat there for days..
I've never tried anything, would love to, though!
Thank you for entering!
I can't wait to hear about your trip! Your troop is going to have a blast!
We absolutely loved it! It didn't work out for us to head down this year, but I am so thankful to everyone posting photos and recipes from this year's festival. I can't wait to get back down there!
Thank you for entering! I wanted to be down there for the 30th anniversary, but we just couldn't get everyone's vacations to work out. But it looks like it was a spectacular event!
We spent and entire night and then lunch the next day enjoying as many dishes as we could! We tried everything on our lists that we had wanted too, plus a few extras!
You did it Beth! And they look beautiful. You really are a woman of many talents (one armed typing included)! :D
My still-favorite yummy is the pork slider... Hawaii!!
Thank you! If you ever have the chance to experience the Food and Wine Festival, I highly recommend it!
If you get the chance to experience the Food and Wine Festival, take full advantage of the offerings. It was one of our best Disney experiences!
The Cheddar Soup in Canada ;-)
The Tuna Poke is my new favorite--love it! Beautiful glasses Beth! You are so talented! I do hope you're feeling better!!
