The Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop ~ A Few of My Favorite People

Focused on the Magic
I am joining in the fun of the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop hosted by Deb at Focused on the Magic today.  This week's theme is "September Calendar Shot."  As I searched through my photos, this particular one stood out for me.  On this morning, Pierre and I were back at the room getting ready and my parents took the kids toward the bus stop.  A cast member noticed my dad's USMC jacket and struck up a conversation.  The cast member then handed my dad a thank you card for being a veteran.  Even better, the cast member took this great picture of five of my most cherished and loved ones - my kids and my parents!

Make sure you head over to Focused on the Magic to check out all the great photos that have been shared. Feel free to join in and share your favorite photo too!

Great shot and story. I also love those chilly shots of Disney. Not often we see jackets.

What a great shot and memory to hold.

What a nice memory!

I hadn't seen your updated blog header lately ... my how your beautiful kids are growing! And thanks for the "missing Disney" sympathy today - not everyone understands (in my real world life, here), so it feels good knowing others are right there with me. ;)

what a beautiful picture. And that was nice to get a card from the CM. I hope you saved it

Yes, we did save it! It was so sweet and so random. Disney magic at its best! :-)

LOL, me too! I always get a little "misty" when I look back over our pictures!

They are growing up much too quickly! The first time we took them to Disney, they were 3.5, 2 and 10 months. On our next trip, they will be 8, 6.5 and 5! I can't believe it!

Thanks, Deb! My goal is to someday have great looking banners like yours! :-)

It was really special. Another great memory of Disney magic at work! :-)

I know! This just happened to be the only day we needed coats. It was certainly a special moment, so we'll take the cooler mornings for that kind of memory! :-)

It is definitely one of my favorites from our last trip! Even better, that it is a memory of such a thoughtful cast member and just what Disney stands for!

My dad was so surprised. It was such a nice gesture because we all know how busy cast members are and take the time to do this meant a lot to all of us!

It tops the memories of our trip. This cast member could have just walked by and made no mention of it. This gesture made a huge impact on our day, particularly my dad.
