Destination Disney in Quotes

I love Heidi's new series Destination Disney in Quotes.  Each week, she will be sharing a new Disney quote and inviting all of us to share our posts inspired by the quote.  Walt Disney was such an inspiring man, and I am excited to be able to show over the course of the next few weeks how his life has inspired our lives.

This week's quote:

Sparkly Princess paper from Capturing Magical Memories

On our last trip to Walt Disney World, we were lucky enough to make a dining reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table.  My two girls were quite excited to meet their favorite princesses.  Both girls dressed up and showed off their own Disney style, with a little help from our very own Fairy Godmother - my mom!  During lunch, the girls were each given a princess wand, as well as a wishing star.  Hayley absolutely loved the wand and spent the rest of the day sending pixie dust to everyone with her new wand.  This meant every child that she thought looked sad or was crying, she pointed her wand in their direction and sent them some pixie dust.  She truly is my beautiful little princess, who is the mother hen of my other two children and the one who will always stand up for anyone who needs it.  To this day, this princess wand makes an appearance anytime someone needs a little pick me up.  To her, a little pixie dust goes a long way, and I have to say, her true belief in its powers is what makes her imagination one of the most wonderful things about her - her desire to be sure everyone is happy and knows there is someone there, even if she is a stranger to them, to lift them up if they need it.  She is definitely inspiring to me to be a better person everyday!

Make sure you head over to Heidi's Head to see everyone's posts inspired by Walt Disney's quote and to share your own!

What a beautiful post, Beth! I love the picture of your little princess and what you did with the quote itself - looks great! I agree with Walt - we can learn so much from our little ones!

so sweet! I'm sure with 3 boys, I'll never be able to experience this type of thing, so I'll live through your sweet girls! :)
