Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop ~ March Calendar Shot

Focused on the Magic
Today, I am joining in the fun of the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop hosted by Deb at Focused on the Magic.  The shot I am sharing today is from March 2010.  I am not sure why Disney's Hollywood Studios was so empty this particular day, but let's just say we rode Toy Story Mania three times in a row with the wait being no longer than the time it took to walk through the queue area!  We were spoiled, because on our most recent trip, no such luck!

Disney's Hollywood Studios ~ March 2010

Make sure you head over to Focused on the Magic to see everyone else's Disney-themed March Calendar Photos!  Thanks for hosting, as always, Deb!

Great pic!  Even on crowds that are at a 1 or 2, I've NEVER seen that at TSMW!  But, I can honestly say we don't spend a lot of time at dhs.. definitely not our fave place. Oh well!

Ok, that is weird!! I have never seen it less than 20 minutes.

It was very weird!  Though it was a day ranked as a 1 by Touring Plans crowd calendar.  It has never happened before or since!  After we did TSM, we went and walked right up to have photos taken with Buzz and Woody.  Even back out in front of the hat where the characters are out for meet and greets, every line we got into had only one or two families in front of us.  It was great!

We never spend a lot of time at DHS either.  TSM, ToT, RnRC, Star Tours and the Muppets are pretty much all we do at DHS.  As the kids get older I am sure it will changes, but for now, it is a half day parks for us.

Wow sounds like a great trip if you were able to hit Toy Story that many times.   Jealous.  Nice shot with only a couple people in it :).   Thanks for sharing!

What a great calendar shot & what magical day that was! TSM walk-on!!! Love it when a touring plan comes together!!

What is tough now is explaining to the kids that riding it once is the norm for each trip! :-)  We were so lucky that day, and I hope for that every trip, though it seems that was a once in a lifetime experience! :-)

With three little ones who couldn't wait to ride TSMM, it was perfect! :-)  We accomplished so much in such a little amount of time. It was great!

LOL!  I couldn't agree more! :-)

I can't wait to see it!  Will you post pics of it when it is done?

Empty park? Lucky ducks. It would be nice to have that kind of luck at least once each trip, wouldn't it?

Lucky!! :) That's so funny, I love empty parks. The only time that's ever happened to me was when I was on the College Program. It was 2004 and one of the four hurricanes was about to hit Central Florida. Everyone was getting the heck out of Florida, and we were playing in the Studios! It was empty and we did everything walking on! A very magical day.
Thanks for sharing!
