Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop ~ Disney Firsts

Focused on the Magic

Today, I am joining in on the fun of the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop hosted by Deb at Focused on the Magic.  The theme this week is First-Footing Disney, based on a Scottish tradition.  I decided to share a Disney first from each of my children's first trips to Disney.

Emily's 1st Trip to Walt Disney World and
1st Experience at Hoop Dee Doo

Hayley's 1st Trip to Walt Disney World and
her 1st Meeting with Mickey

Joey's 1st Trip to Walt Disney World.  This is the moment right after meeting his favorite character Buzz Lightyear and
right before Grampa purchased him his very first Buzz Lightyear

Make sure you head back over to Focused on the Magic for all the other great Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop photos for this week!

We start them out young in this family,Mary! LOL!  In 2008 for Emily and Hayley's first trip, Joey was 3.5, Hayley was 2 and Emily was 10 months.  Joey was just 14 months for his first trip, though I was four or five months pregnant for Hayley.

Thank you!  It is hard to believe they have grown up so much since then!

Such special memories!

She was just two then and absolutely loved the characters!  Actually, she still does.  I think spending times with the characters is her favorite part of our Disney vacations.

You have the most adorable family! I love every one of those pictures! Your Dad looks so familiar. Did he go to Rensselaer (RPI) by any chance?

I wouldn't be surprised if you knew my dad from somewhere.  He knows everybody!  It does not matter where we go, there is always someone there who knows him.  He actually was in the Marines and then a NH State Trooper.  Since retiring, he became a consultant working with homeland security and a professional relaxer! LOL!

Nothing's better than a Disney first, as seen through your babies' eyes... sniff.

I know! When looking back for photos, I was getting a little emotional thinking of how little they were!

Hayley is a huge Mickey fan!  Chef Mickey's is her favorite spot to meet the characters.
