The Disney Resort I Love to Visit Every Trip!

There is one Disney resort that someday, I hope we get to actually stay at, but for now I am happy to visit it each and every trip.  Disney's Beach Club Resort has so much to offer guests.

Here are a few of my favorite reasons to "stop by" the beach club each Disney vacation:

The Kitchen Sink, March 2010
The Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream
On our last trip to Walt Disney World, we decided that we just had to try the Kitchen Sink, an 8 scoop sundae covered with all the toppings in the "house" and a full can of whipped cream.  This delicious treat is served at Beaches and Cream, which is a short walk from Epcot's International Gateway.  After spending some time making our way around Epcot, we can walk over to Beaches and Cream for our Kitchen Sink and then take a quick stroll back and walk our sundaes off while enjoying World Showcase.  With seven of us, this is great family fun and something we already have on our itinerary for our October trip.

Our 1st Character Meal
February 2006
Goofy's Beach Club Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe
The character breakfast at the Beach Club is by far our favorite character meal.  Cape May Cafe has a very relaxed atmosphere, and it is by far one of the places where we have the most amazing character interactions.  We have an emotional attachment to Cape May too, because it is also the spot of our very first character meal on my son's very first trip to Walt Disney World.

Waiting for breakfast, October 2008
The White Sand Beaches
While waiting to be seated for our character breakfast or after we have our Kitchen Sink, we love to just walk around the grounds.  The resort is along the white sand beaches of Crescent Lake.  It is an amazing place to just relax and take in the sights of the Boardwalk across the lake.

But even better, this resort is a quick walk or boat ride to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Plus, you can visit the Boardwalk by strolling around Crescent Lake.  This resort is just a beautiful place that has a very relaxed atmosphere.  A stay at this resort is on my Disney Bucket List, but for now, I will enjoy our visits to this amazing resort with so much to offer!

Which of Disney's resorts do you love to spend some time visiting?

Well, you can't swim at them, but they are so nice to just walk around. Of course, it gives my kids a nice chance to run and play.

Third stop and third resort mentioned and, so far, I love them all! :) We've been doing a ton of resort hopping on our last few trips and I just love them all for various reasons.

We've not been to Beaches & Cream, but we may have to remedy that soon!

We have yet to order a kitchen sink. I'm thinking it's a must-do for our next trip ;) Haven't stayed at the Beach Club either, but it sure is tempting!

Heidi and Jodi - I highly recommend you test out the Kitchen Sink. So fun! The dish even looks like a kitchen sink!

Great post! I too love the Beach Club! The ship wreck slide is so much fun-even in Feb. The lagoon pool is like being at a water park. Oh dear, now I've got a bad case of Disneyitis!!
Haven't tried the Kitchen Sink, it's going on my bucket list:)

The kitchen sink looks incredible! I think I'd last only a few spoonfuls but could be that my husband could finish with my daughter! They're both addicted to ice cream!!

I'll have to agree, the Kitchen Sink was amazing, but you really need more than 4 adults to polish that thing off!! The menu says feeds 4, but I think it's a lie! ;)

Great post! I need to try Cape May sometime...
