Welcome to those of you joining me from Meet the Magic and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the fourth stop on our Magical Blogorail.
When I found out that "Disney Dream Job" was going to be our topic this month, I was very excited and could not wait to get started. As easy I thought it would be, I could not decide what would really be something I would love to do day after day. Of course, I started thinking of my favorite attractions, but then realized at some, my job would be loading and unloading guests from dream boats or pirate ships. I wasn't so sure that would be something I would want to do all day long every day. Then, I started thinking about some of my favorite live shows, but that idea quickly was dismissed since I have no acting, singing or dancing skills that need to be displayed beyond the walls of this house. But then it hit me, what is one job, day after day, that gives me the opportunity to help people create the most magical moments and work on a very personal level with the guests? A Disney Wedding Specialist with a slight twist.

I could so groove into the whole wedding planning thing myself - as I also love planning and organizing just about anything!
One of the things I remember most of our Disney wedding was a)the cake, but b) the service we received from our planners. They really are miracle workers...
I can't imagine being a wedding planner knowing that so many brides are whacko... But, I'm just not the most patient person. The cake decorating idea is perfect! I'm very impressed by that cake!
Beautiful cake! I made a similar one (princess themed) for my girl's first birthday :)
awesome! When you get this job, Jonathan and I will head to WDW to renew our vows and have you plan our renewal ceremony! :)
Beth, I love the cake! I didn't know you were such a creative baker. That's most certainly something I'm not so good at. LOL! You can't play with the ingredients the way you can with cooking. You can be my specialty cake maker at my restaurant. How's that.
I think you'd be great at planning weddings. Being organized is absolutely what it's about. I used to plan Nashville rock events and benefits. It was a lot of work but also a lot of fun.
Absolutely amazing cake, Beth, and I think you'd be just as amazing at being a Disney wedding coordinator :)
The Little Mermaid cake you made is beautiful! I think those both sound like perfect jobs for you. :)
What a fun idea! I wish I were creative enough to decorate cakes...they make people so happy!
Beth, your cake is FABULOUS!! I think you are definitely talented enough to do cakes at the Grand Floridian!! Now, when you get the job as wedding coordinator I will volunteer to be your assistant!!
That is the greatest cake I've ever seen!
