We Pursued and We Found the Magic This Week
On Tuesday, I continued my series of posts In Flight Fun for the Kids with something a little more practical this time around - water bottles. I included in this article all the links to my previous articles in this series.
On Wednesday, I shared one of my all time favorite photos from Kilimanjaro Safari and joined in Focused on the Magic's Wordless Wednesday Disney Blog Hop hosted by Deb. We have never had a close encounter like this before, but I am always hoping we do.
Also on Wednesday I shared details about Hallmark's Keepsake Ornament Premiere and some of the new Disney ornaments they released. Plus, I shared all the details of Hallmark's Star Wars ornaments that are available this year, as well as the Limited Quantity Bossk ornament that is only available this weekend in a post over at Jedi Mouseketeer. If you are a Star Wars fan, I highly suggest you check out Jedi Mouseketeer. He shares Star Wars news, crafts, events and so much more.
Normally, on Friday nights, I join in the fun of Sorcerer Radio's WDW After Dark. They were taking a break this week, so instead, I watched a movie and enjoyed a delicious Mudslide Martini, a recipe from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge that I found over at Cooking with Mickey. These are definitely on the sweet side, but they are quite delicious. If you are ever looking for an after dinner/dessert drink, I highly recommend it!
Also, in a previous post I discussed ways I prepare my children for trips to Disney and one of those ways is to show my son videos of some of the attractions and shows we will see while on vacation. My fellow Disney blooger Bruce at A World View shared a link this week to a site that has high quality full length videos. My kids watched a few and loved them. So to see just what I am talking about, head over to A World View and Bruce's post Monday Magic: A New Martin Smith Video; The Memories, the Magic and You.
Saturday, we went to the Ornament premiere and let's just say it was less than a magical experience, so I won't share the details here. But I will be sharing which ornaments we did purchase this week in its own post - I love every single one of them and can't wait to get my Disney Christmas tree up! I love Chirstmas in July!
How did you pursue and find the magic this week? I would love to hear about it!
