100 Things to Do in Disney #92 ~ Lunch with the Princesses

Emily getting ready for her 1st
princess dinner
I am sharing #92 on our countdown to Disney in my series 100 Things to Do in Disney.  Today's pick comes from  my youngest daughter, Emily.  She is just 3.5 and absolutely loves princesses, tea parties and dressing up.  I find her many times walking around the house singing, which always reminds me of the scene in Sleeping Beauty when Aurora is dancing and singing with her forest friends.

For our 2010 trip, we experienced our very first princess dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.  The girls absolutely loved it (you can see all the details, as well as a photo montage of our pictures in my post Princess Storybook Dining ~ Akershus Royal Banquet Hall) and have always talked about going back.  So for this trip, Emily requested eating with the princesses again.  We gave her the option of returning to Akershus or trying out Cinderella's Royal Table.  I was so excited that she chose Cinderella's Royal Table.  On the day we made our ADRs, I booked CRT at the exact time we wanted.  Even better, our friends who will be in Disney the same time as we are, booked a table at the exact same time on the same day!  What are the chances?  I am taking that as a very good sign for this trip!

The day I booked CRT, I excitedly shared the news with Hayley and Emily.  Hayley told me she was going to dress as Aurora, her favorite princess, though she told me last week she is going to dress as Jessie.  We'll see what happens as it gets closer!  Emily immediately told me we needed to make Tiana a card.  When I asked her what kind of card, she told me we needed to make an invitation for Tiana, so she knows she needs to sit with us for lunch.  It was so cute and made me even more excited to bring the girls to another princess meal.  Of course, when I asked Emily if she was going to dress as Tiana for the lunch, she let me know she needs to wear her Snow White dress, so Tiana can see it.
