Disney-Pixar Cars Week Day #6 ~ Cars,Cars and More Cars

Joey opening gifts at his Cars graduation party
We went to see Cars 2 yesterday.  I did enjoy it, but I will say that it is definitely missing the emotional piece that we saw in the first Cars movie with the Doc Hudson/Lightning McQueen relationship.  The most important thing about the experience for me was that Joey made it through the movie without a complete freak out (this is a big step for him-you can read more about that in my post over at Growing Up Disney about our Mickey's Philharmagic nightmare . . . I mean experience).  As we walked out of the theater, Joey gave it a thumbs up, Hayley told me it was her favorite movie and Emily was waking up from her nap.  Yes, she fell asleep halfway through, though know that is no reflection on the movie!  We definitely enjoyed it, but I did miss Doc Hudson.

For the last day of this Disney-Pixar Cars Week, I have decided to share a few Cars items we use in our everyday lives.  Not only are these great for around the house, we also bring many of them to Disney with us on vacation.

Cars Band-Aids
We have band-aids of just about every Disney character (you never know who will be the character to make a boo boo feel better).  I have some from the first Cars movie, but on a recent trip to WalMart, I saw they had two different Cars 2 versions of the band-aids as well.

Cars Vitamins
Everyday, Joey (and sometimes the girls) "rev their engines" by starting the day with a Cars vitamin.  Of course, these also come in many other characters, such as princesses, Toy Story, Nemo and Tinker Bell to name a few.

Cars Toothpaste and Toothbrush
The toothbrush comes in many characters, and to my excitement, also Sally.  It is hard to find Cars items geared toward girls, so it was exciting to see the choices.

Cars Snacks
Right now you can find just about any food out there in Cars packaging: Minute Maid Juice Boxes, Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats, Cheez-Its, fruit snacks and much more.  According to Joey, the Cars ones taste better than the regulars.

I could have a month long theme of Cars posts with all that we have.  Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing one Cars post a week that focuses on Cars Toys, Wii Games and more.

If you missed any of my Cars posts this week, here they are:
Day #1 ~ A Cars Room Makeover
Day #2 ~ Summertime Fun with Lightning McQueen
Day #3 ~ Cars 2 Party Supplies in 3D
Day #4 ~ A Library of Cars Friends
Day #5 ~ Enjoy the Ride (A Bonus Feature with John Lasseter on the Cars Bu-ray)

What Disney-Pixar Cars "treasures" have you found that you use in your everyday life?

I'm glad you liked it, I read some mixed reviews. I love the Band-aids and all the other Cars merchandise they have. My kids use the Band-aids as all over jewelry. LOL.

My middle daughter is the same way! She constantly has band-aids on! :-)

My little guy's favorite new Cars item is the Cars Cheerios with the red Cheerios in them!

We haven't tried those yet, but I think BJ's Wholesale Clubs has a coupon for one box of the Cars cereal free if you buy a box of Cheerios. It was a really great deal.
