Wordless Wednesday ~ At the Gate and Waiting

The night before we left for our 2010 trip to Walt Disney World, New Hampshire had a major snowstorm.  Here my kids were waiting to see if we would actually be able to take off on time.  They were watching the snowplows clear the runways.  Luckily, we had no delays.  Since we boooked all out flights this week for our fall trip, I was thinking of all us just sitting and waiting to see if we would make it to Walt Disney World.  This year we will be going in October, so I am fairly certain, though it isn't impossible, that we will not be facing any snowstorms on our departure day!

Here's what we were doing the night before our trip:

We are leaving October 30th and coming back November 6th. I can't wait! I should add to this post the picture of the night before. We were out in the snow building a snowman and shoveling the driveway to make sure it wouldn't be too deep for us to get out in the morning!

Kathy-That is exactly why we picked that week! I am so excited because I have never seen the parks decorated for Chrstmas.

DisTherapy - Too bad we'll miss each other!

Thanks everyone! Not much sleep was had the night before because of our excitement and because of our fear of how much snow we would get. Good old New Hampshire winters.:-)

that's awesome. I can't imagine... if we had snow like that (which we did this year-1 foot) there's NO WAY we would get to the airport! 1 inch shuts everything down here in Alabama!!

I hardly slapt the night before because I couldn't believe we had the potential of not making it in. I was so relieved when we finally arrived at the airport, though it was a very slow and slippery drive!
