A Future Imagineer?

It is rare that I get moments of time in the morning with just one of my children.  They are early risers, and we all usually have breakfast together.  But this morning was a little different.  Since both girls slept in (and are still sleeping now), Joey and I had breakfast just the two of us.  We talked about lots of different things, but at one point in the conversation, he began talking about what he wants to be when he grows up.  The first two things he mentioned are the two that come up pretty often ~ a Marine and a Police Officer, just like my dad.  But as I was telling him those were very brave choices, and he would get to help keep people safe, he said there is one more thing.  When I asked what it was he said, "I am going to work for Disney and teach them how to build rides in just one day."  Well, I look forward to that!

How wonderful - both that quiet breakfast with your son, and his dreams!

The funny part is Joey is our "thinker" of the three kids. We are going to WDW in October and have been talking about the expansion project. I am pretty certain that since he first heard me mention some of the changes, he has been thinking about how it could get done before we arrive! I wasn't even going to post anything today, but I couldn't resist sharing this!

Adorable! He could be a Marine MP (as long as the world isn't in as much peril as it is now) for a few years to get the GI Bill, then go to college for engineering!

I am keeping that in mind - it sounds like a great plan! :-)

Joey is my child who takes things apart just so he can put them back together! He loves to build things, as did Hayley. We'll see if a future imagineer is in the cards for either of them! :-)
