Wordless Wednesday ~ Joey's 1st Ride on Kali River Rapids

In 2008, Joey took a ride on Kali River Rapids, an attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom, for the first time.  I was inspired to share this photo after reading a post from my fellow Magical Blogorail member, Bruce, at A World View. You can check out his article about Kali River Rapids for more information about the attraction.

LOL! Joey was just 3.5 at the time. And, unfortunately, this was his "camera" face for most of the trip. :-)

Kelly - the funniest thing is all he remembers (or talks about) when it comes to this, is that we headed straight to lunch at the Rainforest Cafe right after. It is always so cold in there and he was freezing. Hayley will be tall enough to ride this year, but Joey keeps saying, "Just make sure we don't go to that cold jungle again when we are wet!"

Gilda - Love the cakes! Nice Job! And happy birthday to your princess! They grow up so fast!

This was the trip that he was tall enough to ride most things, but not old enough for some (in my opinion). He was only 3.5 but the height of a six year old. I was so relieved when he came off the ride and was excited! He loved it!

As for the camera face, each of my children have gone through this phase. I am hoping it doesn't strike anyone in October! LOL!

Aah! Looks like he's a fan. Cute!
My youngest daughter didn't like it much at all and looks like she was heading over the side of a waterfall in a barrel in my "first Kali ride" photo.

LOL, I love that is his camera face. Max has one too, and it's darn cute... I hope he keeps it when he's 3.5. My friend's son does the exact same face as Joey. Hehehe.
